LAURA | IPSWICH MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

There is nothing I love more than photographing real raw beauty in the outdoors.  These images are as natural as their surroundings, just gorgeous.  I just love the location for these portraits, and Laura, as she anticipates the arrival of her little "surprise" looks so relaxed and calm, (on the outside anyway).  It was important to Laura that we captured her maternity portraits before bubs, arrived, so this session was a long time in the planning, and I was so excited when the time finally came.  It is such a privilege and honour to be part of something so special.

KIDS ON LOCATION | SMITH KIDS | BRISBANE CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHER

These little boys are very much into sport, their weekends and afternoons after school are filled with coming and going to different sporting events, which keeps their mummy very busy.  So, of course it was ok that we had their soccer balls in the session too.  They had fun at the end of the session kicking around their soccer ball.  This was yet another Kids On Location Session at Robelle Domain Springfield.  Our Kids On Location Event, is a great way to keep up to date with your Children's Portraits, to find out more please e-mail me at info.samiam@bigpond.com

WONDER WOMEN | MATER LITTLE MIRACLES 5km FUN RUN

The Mater Little Miracles is a charity that is close to my heart, I couldn't imagine having to endure life with a seriously sick baby, so I thank my lucky stars every day for having a precious and healthy baby, as many others don"t share the same luck.  I am grateful for the wonderful work that the Mater Little Miracles do, and support them every year with our Show You Care With a Teddy Bear Event held every October and November, but when I saw they were holding a Fun Run, I thought it would be a fun opportunity to raise more funds for them.


So.....we formed our "Wonder Women" team of 7 who will take part in the .Mater Little Miracles 5km Fun Run.  only 6 days ago, and would you believe that we are only $90 away from our $500 goal?? I am overwhelmed at the generosity of our friends and family.... absolutely blown away!!! As soon as we reach our goal, we will increase our target to $1000....... So if you would like to join us and help us reach our goal too, please feel free to get in contact with me.  The Fun Run will be held at Springfield on Saturday 17th March 2012 at 3pm, at Robelle Domain, Southern Cross Circuit, Springfield Central.

BABY JACOB | IPSWICH NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

Newborn portrait sessions are my favourite, I just love how calm and relaxed they are, when I feel that the mum has put her trust in me to achieve amazing results like these.


Meet Jacob, second baby boy for my good friends Sarah and Matt.  Big brother Tyler has been in front of my camera many times since he, himself was a newborn.  He is such a proud big brother and loves him so much, but he can't wait until Jacob is big enough to really play with. Jacob wasn't the "sleepiest" little bundle for his photo shoot, but I won the battle in the end. 


Enjoy your images Sarah and Matt, I loved taking them for you, he is such a precious little man, can't wait until his next portrait session.

Jacob has the most gorgeous kissable little lips, he really is such a handsome boy.
